The meeting point of the worldly and the heavenly is the “Temple.”
The symbol that embodies the union of the spiritual and the material is the triangle. The entablature, through which the intermediate level of existence is conceptually expressed, consists of two rows of triangles: the triangles with their apex pointing upward symbolize the spiritual world. The triangles with their apex pointing downward refer to the earthly element.
The Temple is the spiritual cosmic center. It is the realm of light and radiance. The flame symbolizes divine energy, the invisible presence, the manifestation of the divine spirit. It is the earthly imprint of the heavenly archetype.
At the top of the temple, the golden pyramid symbolizes divine glory and the ascent toward heaven. Gold does not rust, nor does it decay. It is the symbol of divine light and its metaphysical presence.
